The late morning after the Koffi Olomide concert was spent talking with the Drug Dealer and Tatu. (one of the Finish journalism students) We had a round expounding on the greatest moments from our favourite action movies. Die Hard, the Godfather, and American Ninja all came up. Inevitably, we came around to contemporary flicks.
In New Zealand, a similar conversation led to a sleepless night and the first morning showing of Terminator 4. And in Lusaka, we promptly made plans to see the new Transformers.
The next afternoon, a party of travelers gathered at one of the malls just outside town. John, our Brit, contributed an excellent idea: “let’s drink while watching!” Wine and plastic cups were procured, and sneaked inside the theatre.
